The Kenneth C Coombs School strives to provide high quality, individualized education to equip students with skills and knowledge for the future. Our annual 1st Grade Kite Day was a huge success and the weather was great!
KCCS Falcon Field Day is June 11th!

Walk of Honor
Today, the class of 2025 walked the halls of where it all began, the Kenneth C. Coombs School. In full circle fashion, Principal O'Brien watched her former students proudly walk through KCCS.

Alex Torres & his Latin Orchestra, Thursday, June 12th
Please join us at a FREE community concert on THURSDAY, JUNE 12 at 6:30 PM in the Victoria Vieira Auditorium (MMHS). There will also be a bake sale hosted by the MMHS Class of 2027,
This concert is the highlight of their annual two-day residency, which has become a cherished end-of-year cultural celebration for our school community over the past three years. The residency includes engaging workshops in Afro-Caribbean musical styles with both instrumental and vocal students at Mashpee Middle-High School.

Read To Me
All year long, KCCS partners with the Southport Falcons and the Council for Aging to read to Mashpee's youngest Falcons! This incredible program bridges the gap between generations of brings the joy of reading full circle. Every year this fantastic program donates books to every PreK student in the school. Thank you for your love and commitment to supporting KCCS.
The Falcon Marathon
As a right of passage through KCCS started by Kristen Daly (retired PE teacher) and continued by Ms. Caldwell and the specials teacher team, all second graders run a full marathon over the course of the school year. Thank you to the PTO for funding trackers and software so students know how many miles they accumulate over the school year. On Friday, we held our "Final Marathon" and invited families to join in the fun. Every student received a medal for their commitment to hard work and physical fitness.

On Thursday, May 29th, Grade 2 students will walk over with their teachers to the Quashnet School to have lunch with Principal Switzer.
Career Day 2025
Become a career day speaker, share, inspire, and shape. This event is being held on Friday, May 30th, at the Quashnet School.

2nd Graders Visit The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History
Last Friday, second grade took a field trip to the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster, MA. Students learned about our local ecosystem and walked through the wildlife preserve. Thank you to the PTO for funding the field trip!
KCCS Falcon Field Day
We are looking for volunteers to sign up to run activities and stations at Falcon Field Day! Ms. Caldwell has created two sign up geniuses if you are interested. If you are interested, please use the links below to sign up and Ms. Caldwell will be in contact with you. There will be a volunteer training day on Tuesday June 3rd from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
