Supplies

What supplies should I bring?

Please pack a water bottle and 2 snacks, a lunch (or your student may get school lunch), a change of clothes, and appropriate gear for outdoor recess, in an appropriate sized backpack. Please have everything labeled with your students name.

When will I receive a supply list?

Mashpee School District will provide all school supplies unless requested by your student's teacher. Teachers may provide an optional supply list at Open House.

What is available for breakfast and lunch at school?

Breakfast and hot and cold lunch programs are offered daily. Visit the MEALS section of our website for all forms, information and menus

Absences/Attendance

Regular attendance is one of the biggest factors in your child's success, helping build strong routines and keep them connected to their teachers and classmates every day. To report an absence, families use Pick Up Patrol, our only method for reporting absences, (we are no longer using the kccattendance email used previously). Pickup Patrol also allows you to submit dismissal changes like bus, pickup, or walker updates. Returning students are already enrolled, and new families will receive a welcome email to get set up. Please remember that any dismissal changes must be submitted through Pick Up Patrol by 2:30 pm to ensure your child gets home safely and on time.

What if I forget to email or call ahead of time?

When you arrive at the school, bring your ID to the door when you pick up your student. There may be a delay if your student is at lunch or recess and their teacher is not aware that they are being picked up.
