Welcome to Preschool, Pre -K or Kindergarten!
At Kenneth C Coombs (KCC) and the Mashpee Public School District we honor tradition, inspire excellence and shape the future! We are happy to include your family as part of our school community and hope to make the transition as easy as possible. We look forward to partnering with you to make your child's year an exciting learning experience.
You and your child have reached an important milestone, the beginning of their school career. We know this will be an exciting time. It is our hope that the information provided here will begin to answer some of your questions. The staff is looking forward with great enthusiasm to your child's arrival. Our goal at KCC is to help the whole child LEARN, GROW and THRIVE.

INTEGRATED PRESCHOOL
Three years old - before Aug. 31 in the year they start.
Program Days and hours: Students will be placed in to 1 of 3 options
- 2 days-Tues/Thurs 9:05am-11:45am
- 3 days-Mon/Wed/Fri 9:05am-11:45 am
- 4 days- Tues/Wed/Thus/Fri 12:20pm-2:45pm
- Bussing not provided
Our integrated program brings typically developing students and students with special needs together. The outstanding staff create an environment where all children grow and learn at their own pace.
If registrations exceeds available slots, a lottery will be held. The program is at no cost to families.
UNIVERSAL PRE-K
Four years old - before Aug. 31 in the year they start.

- Monday through Friday
- 9:05 am - 3:35 pm
- Bussing not provided
Prekindergarten gets your child ready for school and creates a strong foundation for learning now and in the future. Our amazing staff create an environment where children can thrive academically and build their social and emotional skills.
At no cost to families, our high-quality preschool is available to every 4-year-old living in Mashpee.
KINDERGARTEN
Five years old - before Aug. 31 in the year they start.

- Monday through Friday
- 9:05 am - 3:35 pm
- Bussing provided
Kindergarten is the start of an exciting new adventure for children and families. KCC creates an environment where every encounter and experience can become a learning opportunities to build social, emotional and academic skills.
Our high quality early childhood education is available at no cost to every 5-year old living in Mashpee.

Registration Guidelines
Additional guidance and helpful forms are available on the registration page
- Only a parent or legal guardian is permitted to register a child.
- Although it can be completed on a cell phone, it is recommended to complete the forms on a computer.
- In preparation for registering online, collect ALL required documents. Scan or photograph them in order to upload all at once.
- Click the “New Student Registration” and the correct school year your child will be starting in.
- Create an account or log in if there are other siblings currently enrolled.
- Complete all forms and provide ALL required documents. If you can not, or have not uploaded the required documents prior to clicking submit, you may also email them ALL AT ONCE to kccregistration@mpspk12.org, fax them to 508-539-1530 or drop them off during school hours by choosing an appointment time during the week of (TBD) in the registration portal.
- Press submit at the very bottom. If necessary, correct items in red and re-submit.
Students are registered and placed in classes after ALL documents are received and approved.
NOTE: Currently enrolled Pre school and Pre - K students do not need to be enrolled again.
Registration week is February 14, 2023
- If you have a age-eligible child, you can begin the registration process online.
- Existing students do not need to register again.

- Your child's immunization and physical records must be up-to-date ( within the past 12 months) to begin school in September.
